Kebby from Famous Footwear called to say that Russ Uplinger is the most wonderful Tech they have ever had in their store.

Target Call Center says we need to hire more people with the last name of Bawor.  Target was extremely complimentary about Dan and how he has handled the issues at their store. They were impressed with his professionalism and his willingness to go the extra mile.

Andrew Mannira of Biltmore Construction wrote to compliment and thank Bill Norris and his most excellent crew for the outstanding job they did on their SPC Student Services Building.   “Bill’s expertise in being able to design and implement the sheet metal work has impressed not only us, but the Owner, Architect and Engineer.  His attention to detail and overall cooperation was a major factor in helping to make this project the success that it is.”

We received a call from Green Acres Management Company on what a great job Ricky Orta did servicing their equipment.

Ilona Stracke at Grand Central wrote that they had been having an indescribable noise in their building.   Mike Singleton heard the noise while doing his PMs, and went to the 4th floor parking garage and figured out that there were three loose drain covers and every time someone drove over them, it reverberated throughout the building.  Way to go Mike!!

Ricky Orta responded to a call on October 10th. at 2:30am at the Buccaneers facility in which the entire facility was down. He solved the issue staying until 5:30am to insure they had cooling.  John Gruden never even knew there was a problem.  WHEW!

SAM KERNOHAN TURNS 40

Sam Kernohan, our Payroll Supervisor celebrated his 40th. Birthday in style with a trip back home to Ireland to see the family.   So what do you do while in Ireland?  Go to Race School Ireland the only fully licensed Car Racing School in Ireland.

It’s probably the ultimate outdoor activity and it’s open to anyone who can drive, whether you are 17 or 70.  The sensation of driving a single seater racing car on a circuit can be yours as long as you know how to drive a manual transmission.  The school provides you with a crash helmet along with race overalls.  They recommend you bring a pair of flat shoes. The school does provide gloves but if you have your own, suitable for driving, as with the helmet, you are welcome to use your own personal equipment.

Course content includes demonstration and instruction laps with a qualified racing instructor, followed by a comprehensive briefing by the instructor covering the basic driving of a single seat racing car including safety, cornering lines, gear changing, general track behavior and discipline.  After going through this training you get the chance to run 7 laps around the track on your own.

What a way to get the adrenalin going on a vacation!
