BCH built the new Shorecrest Athletic Facility with Hennessy Construction Services on an eight(8) month schedule. The project had to be completed after the wrap of the 2011 basketball season but before the next season began in October; this was accomplished using a Design Build Delivery system.
Shorecrest’s five million dollar athletic center is a state-of-the-art facility. There are two(2) courts, one for competitive games and the other for recreational activities. In addition, there are six(6)locker rooms, including one each for men’s and women’s referees. BCH performed the HVAC and plumbing, fully integrating a web-based digital control system. ConServ Building Services provides turnkey service and monitoring 24/7. Heating and cooling can be controlled via text message.
