The Amway Center is a 780,000 square foot, seven level sports and entertainment complex. The center serves as home to the National Basketball Association’s Orlando Magic. The team developed the 18,500-seat NBA arena and the city is in charge of operations, renting it out for concerts, exhibitions, and other special events. Hunt Construction Group was the construction manager for this 8.75 acre project in downtown Orlando.
BCH was selected to perform the plumbing work. The plumbing scope included sanitary waste and vent piping; primary/secondary storm piping; domestic water and natural gas piping; and all fixtures, drains, equipment, and plumbing specialties, including three (3) Hydroworx tubs.
