- Drawing review for code compliance and to ensure mechanical and plumbing schedules and legends are detailed and accurate.
- Reducing submittal and shop drawing review time by performing in advance for critical path items such as chillers and air handling units.
- Implementing IAQ Management Plans before and after construction.
IPD has created a unique challenge in the construction industry primarily because it creates and promotes document sharing. However, construction industry IT methods have not matched the pace and are unable to send larger documents to all contractors; this is especially true of larger documents used for creating BIM and/or CAD files.
