BCH Mechanical is a member of the ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. ABC is a national association representing merit shop construction and construction-related firms. The Gulf Coast chapter, chartered in 1969, performs many important functions, including legislative advocacy, apprenticeship training, management education, safety training, and business development.

Many recognize ABC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter by their contributions to apprenticeship training. They provide State of Florida and U.S. Department of Labor approved apprenticeship programs that combine classroom training with on-the-job training, allowing apprentices to learn theory and then gain practical experience in the field. BCH Mechanical participates in these programs by offering knowledgeable staff as instructors and also by hiring ABC apprentices. Our firm acts as a Contractor Sponsor for apprentices, providing them with valuable work experience under the direct mentorship of seasoned journeymen and foremen.
BCH Mechanical has been an active member of ABC since 1986. In most of those years, we have trained more craftsmen than any other mechanical contractor in our area. In some years, we have trained more apprentices than all of the other companies combined. Our management team knows that a highly skilled workforce benefits everyone through improved quality, safety, and morale.
We feel that the extensive resources we invest in training is one of the main reasons we have earned a reputation for excellence within the community, both as a contractor and as an employer. We have more than 600 associates, including craftsmen skilled in sheet metal, pipe fitting, plumbing, insulation, HVAC service, controls, and commissioning. Over a quarter of these team members have tenure of 10 years or more.
