The USF Visual and Performing Arts Center is a 113,000 square foot, three-story building located on the University of South Florida’s main campus in Tampa. This $46.6 million tilt wall construction project seats 500 people in its concert hall, in addition to a 100 seat student practice/recital hall, and multiple practice rooms for small or large groups. This facility not only meets the performance needs of over 400 music majors, but also features administration space and academic classrooms.
BCH Mechanical was chosen to perform the HVAC scope for Skanska USA Building, Inc. This project included over 200 special sound attenuating devices and dual wall ductwork throughout the entire facility.
